Fans of Oscar de la Renta's signature showstopping dresses were far from disappointed with the fashion maestro's latest offerings.
The 81-year-old designer unveiled an array of sumptuous, beautifully crafted gowns that screamed red carpet glamour at his Autumn/Winter 2014 show at New York Fashion Week on Tuesday.
The collection was largely defined by texture – delicate gold lacquered feather embroidery adorned the waist of a silk ballgown and black floral appliqués decorated an ivory lace blouses.
The pièce de résistance? A stunning tiered black tulle ballgown with painted polka dots modelled by Karlie Kloss.
