The Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, wasn't the only royal making waves in the fashion world during her family's tour of Australia and New Zealand.Prince George proved quite the little trendsetter on his first ever overseas trip, with the tot's cute ensembles selling out within minutes of his appearances. The sailboat smock dungarees that the youngster wore for a playdate in New Zealand from London-based retailer Rachel Riley sold out of all sizes within just a few hours. Shoppers can order the smock dungarees but there is no available stock. "Due to an enormous amount of interest, there will be a waiting time of up to 8 weeks for this item," a message on the website reads. Demand was also high for the Rachel Riley striped polo shirt and navy shorts he wore to visit the zoo. A sailboat romper by Annafie also sold out, with stock currently appearing in the negative on the website. The Early Days shoe company in Leicester was so overwhelmed with demand after the Prince was spotted in a pair of its 'prewalkers' that online sales had to be shut down. According to the store's owner, Paul Bolton, the actual pair of shoes that he wore were sold out within two hours of his appearance. "The recent media coverage showing our shoes being worn by Prince George has resulted in unprecedented demand and we have been forced to close our online sales until further notice," read a message on the store's website. The cuddly kangaroo backpack that George debuted on his arrival in Sydney has also sold out. The bag was from the Australian Koala Foundation and vendors were soon forced to display a "This product is out of stock or unavailable' message to parents trying to order the item online.
