Diane Kruger
German actress Diane Kruger was born in 1976 and grew up dreaming of becoming a ballerina. She spent much of her education on exchange programs to improve her English and eventually joined the Royal Ballet School in London.
After an injury derailed her ballet career, Diane moved to Paris and took up modelling.
She ended up working on
high-profile campaigns for designers including Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, and Chanel, and walked in runway shows for Marc Jacobs and D&G.
In 1999
Diane met French actor and director Guillaume Canet and the pair married in 2001. Diane decided to pursue an acting career, and her first major big screen role occurred in Guillaume's directorial debut
