Gisele Bundchen grew up in southern Brazil and moved to Sao Paulo in 1993 to follow her modelling dream.In 1997 she auditioned in London for Alexander McQueen and was selected for his ready-to-wear-show thanks to her ability to walk in towering heels - on a slippery runway.
