The Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, put on quite the stylish parade during her visit to New York. Accompanied by her husband Prince William, the royal stepped out to engagements wearing a series of designer ensembles. And Kate pulled out all the stops for the couple's final engagement of their three-day visit to America, wowing in a midnight blue Jenny Packham gown.

Kate was stunning in this midnight blue Jenny Packham number

She was attending a glitzy gala dinner to raise money for the university at which she met Prince William, St. Andrews. The royal couple were guests of honour at the event at New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art. In typical manner, it's not the first time Kate has worn the designer gown. In October of last year, Prince George's mum debuted the off-the-shoulder tulle dress with a velvet belt while attending the 100 Women in Hedge Funds benefit. She then sported the number again earlier this year for a fundraiser at the Portrait Gallery in London.

Earlier in the day, Kate had dressed her baby bump in a bright pink Mulberry coat for a visit to the National September 11 Memorial Museum. The double-breasted cerise wool and silk coat came with a £1,500 price tag – but the outerwear sold out just hours after the Duchess was spotted. The first day of her New York trip was an equally stylish affair, with Kate arriving in the Big Apple wearing a deep purple tweet coat by maternity brand Seraphine.
