Victoria Beckham might be a star singer-turned-fashion designer, but the former Spice Girl has certainly made her mark on the internationl style stage. In a short space of time, Victoria has made a name for herself as a designer with her dresses gracing many red carpets courtesy of A-list women such as Melissa George, Eva Longoria and Jennifer Lawrence. With nine main line collections to date and numerous seasons under her belt, the 38-year-old is now set to launch a greatest hits collection – which has been entitled 'Icon' – inspired by some of the most popular and enduring styles from her back catalogue.

Primarily the range will feature seven dresses from her archive and previous designs, with more styles being added later in the year. The capsule collection will launch later in February, in an effort to coincide with the re-launch of the mum-of-four's new ecommerce site victoriabeckham.com, where the 'Icon' creations will be sold exclusively. Victoria recently confessed: "Together with my personal edit of the spring/summer 2013 collections, I wanted to be able to offer an exclusive product on the site that was in keeping with the signature aesthetic that's very special to me. "I introduced Icon in response to requests for designs from as far back as my first collection from customers, and I wanted to find a way to offer them key dresses from the archive, but in newly-reworked colours and fabrics."

The first run will see a reincarnation of creations from her spring/summer 2009 collection onwards, with prices starting from around £,1000. Revamped to perfection, expect a variation of both classic and vibrant colours combined with Victoria's signature simple cuts, neat lines and elegant silhouettes. Not to mention the much desired re-appearance of the tight bandage style bodycon, which was famously worn by A-listers Kate Winslet and mum-to-be Kim Kardashian.Despite the reissuing of VB's classic designs, when discussing the 'Icon' collection, the British-born beauty announced "I hope these updated styles will become unique, limited edition pieces."

Cementing her style status, Mrs Beckham has often relayed the importance of adhering to her own style stating "there's not one single thing out there that I would not wear myself. I always design what I want to wear, and I want to wear more than a dress. "And since David Beckham's announcement informing how he will be relocating to fashion capital Paris, it's only natural to assume that Victoria will find Parisian inspiration in the stylish City of Light, whether it concerns her newest collection or recreated golden gems for the iconic 'Icon' garments.
