There's a new mini fashionista in town.

Four-year-old Mayhem has made waves in the fashion world after sharing pictures of the red carpet-inspired dresses she makes using craft paper and tape.

Her mother Angie revealed that the toddler that she suggested making a dress out of paper last year and her daughter took over the idea, according to the Huffington Post.

After awards shows, the design duo Google all the red carpet images and Mayhem picks which gowns she'd like to recreate.

Mayhem then models the incredible creations. She recreated Katy Perry's stunning Valentino couture Grammys dress that featured musical scores.

She also made the Dior dress that Jennifer Lawrence wore to the Golden Globes and Lupita Nyong'o's beautiful red Ralph Lauren cape dress.

"At this point, she knows exactly how many sheets of construction paper she needs to make herself a top and a bottom," she says.

"She can lay the entire thing out and tape it together all by herself."

The pair use tape and glue to hold together the dresses, which can be made out of aluminium foil, tissue paper, wrapping paper and gift bags.

Angie added that their dress designing will continue "as long as she wants to make them."
