The Monster Choupette collection features a cartoon version of 'the most famous cat in the world' baring her teeth and seemingly throwing a diva-style strop. The tongue-in-cheek range will feature T-shirts, sweaters, bags, purses and shoes, and will be available from November. Karl Lagerfeld has created a capsule collection inspired by his cat Choupette The news follows the announcement that Chanel's creative director will be releasing a book also dedicated to his white Burmese, called Choupette: The Enchanted Life of a Fashion Cat. Featuring photographs of the fluffy feline, all shot by Karl himself, the book will gives fashion fans a glimpse into Choupette's pampered world which features her own made-to-measure Louis Vuitton luggage, silver dinner bowls and her own bodyguard. The light-hearted project also features special images with supermodels Laetitia Casta and Linda Evangelista posing with the three-year-old cat in front of glamorous and Parisian backdrops. Karl and Choupette in a photo posted on Choupette's Instagram account Choupette, who has over 25,000 followers on the Instagram account in her name, also proved to be the inspiration for Shu Uemura's new beauty line. Named 'Glamourpuss luxury', the brand-new beauty range features eye shadows, glitter powder, false eyelashes and a luxurious cleansing oil. The stunning packaging consists of a drawing of snow-white Choupette, created by Karl himself. "Forget Choupette, Mademoiselle, Princess of Queen," read a caption on the fashionable feline's Instagram photo of the new packaging. "Call me 'Shu'pette!" The adorable cat also features in several promotional pictures for the range, lying alongside numerous bottles, tubs and palettes.
