Nearly two months after she walked the Dolce & Gabbana show whilst over six months pregnant, Italian model Bianca Balti has given birth to an adorable baby girl. The 31-year-old shared the happy news on Wednesday on her Instagram account with a photo of herself holding her newborn daughter, called Mia, with proud father Matthew McRae beaming in the sweet snap.

"I'm so blessed to announce the birth of Mia McRae !!!!" she captioned the touching image. "14th of April 2015 at 9.05am – 2.8kg. She's going to be so loved by me, her proud daddy Matthew and her big sister Matilde! I'm literally the most thankful human being in the world! THANK YOU GOD!"
This marks the first child for the happy couple, but the second child for Bianca. She and ex-husband photographer Christian Lucidi, from whom she split in 2009, have a seven-year-old daughter Matilde.

Earlier this year Bianca showed off her blossoming baby bump on the catwalk when she modelled in Dolce & Gabbana's Autumn/Winter collection during Milan Fashion Week. The show, which celebrated motherhood, saw models strutting down the runway to the soundtrack of the Spice Girls' 1996 hit Mama.

The catwalk was almost a live family portrait, with three models walking whilst carrying adorable babies, and one little girl made her catwalk debut, stepping out hand-in-hand with her mum in matching printed shift dresses. All eyes were on a pregnant Bianca when she took to the catwalk, smiling and looking radiant in a pale pink midi dress with three-quarter length sleeves.
The brunette beauty took to the catwalk again at the end of the show to lead her fellow models in the finale. She wore the same dress, this time in a shade of black, and couldn't help but smile in the stylish presentation celebrating family.
