A teaser video of Rihanna's new campaign for Dior has been released. The popstar, who was appointed the new face of the fashion brand back in January, stars in their new 'Secret Garden' film series.
The 27-year-old can be seen climbing the steps of a grand staircase while clutching a Dior bag behind her back. The video is thought to have been shot in the gardens of the Palace of Versailles.
The film also features an exclusive new song from Rihanna's fourth album, entitled Only If For A Night.
"In this short movie, [Rihanna] knew how to work with Versailles," Dior's chief executive office Sidney Toledano told WWD.
"She has this kind of elegance – we saw it from the very first moment – and then she can surprise. She can be unexpected and we like it. It's part of this personality."
The Bajan beauty, who is the first black woman to become a spokesperson for Dior, joins a line-up of brand ambassadors including Jennifer Lawrence, Natalie Portman, Charlize Theron, Mila Kunis and Marion Cotillard.
"It feels fantastic," she told MTV News when it was first revealed that she would model for Dior.
"It is such a big deal for me, for my culture, for a lot of young girls of any colour. I think, to be acknowledged by Dior is just, it means a lot as a woman to feel beautiful, and elegant, and timeless."
