Christian Louboutin launches photo filter app; we test it out

Iconic footwear designer Christian Louboutin has launched a new photo-filtering app called Louboutinize.

Unlike the brand's other offerings, which can cost up to thousands of pounds, the app is completely free.

Always keen to up our Instagram game, we decided to try the app out. See our results below...

The first filter, 'Rouge', adds the label's signature red hue to your photo. This can be slightly intense and we suggest not applying it to your selfies – you may end up scaring your followers.

The next filter, 'Crystallize', adds a kaleidoscope filter that gives the effect of a crystal or, slightly less appealingly, broken glass. We tried it with our new issue – what do you think?

The last filter is the most playful. 'Legs' filter adds different legs – think those of Dita von Teese, a soccer player, ballerina, matador and a horse – to the bottom half of an image of your choice. We chose our style crush Blake Lively and are pretty pleased with the results.
