Lucy Mecklenburgh has been named as the face of the V by Very summer campaign. The British star, who is well-known for her enviable figure, modelled the fashionable collection in Ibiza - wearing a range of stunning dresses, swimsuits and bikinis, with prices ranging between £12 and £50. Taking to her Instagram account, Lucy shared a stunning bikini photo from the shoot, in which she wears a cool retro-inspired high-waist blue bikini, featuring cool gold zips. Captioning the photo, she wrote: “SO EXCITED!!! My campaign for High Summer @veryuk launches today! Eekkk! Had the most amazing time shooting in Ibiza and this is one of my favourite bikinis for the collection.”

The image shows Lucy standing against a palm tree flaunting her toned, sun-kissed frame. The idyllic shot showcases the 25-year-old’s model credentials – with her glossy brown hair swept back in an stylish, effortless ‘do, while her flawless complexion is further enhanced with a glowy base and sweep of bronzer. A bold outline of black liner, lashings of mascara and a strong brow ensure her large eyes stand out, while a semi-sheer pink gloss adds a feminine touch to her look.

Other pieces from the collection, which sees a range of vibrant hues, tropical prints and Aztec embroidery, include a stunning ruffle front printed maxi dress, retailing at £50 and an ultra-girly billowy high-neck frill maxi dress for £35, featuring a halter-neck and adorned in a whimsical pastel print.
Lucy revealed her secrets to being beach-ready and confident while on holiday
Discussing the shoot, Lucy said: “ It was shot in the most beautiful villa with the most incredible views. Wearing the collection for the first time made me feel excited about everything that summer brings and everything I’m looking forward to.”
The body-confident star also revealed her secrets to being beach-ready: “I think the secret to feeling confident on the beach is prep – whether that be training with a fitness regime, or looking after your diet before you go and drinking lots more water.”
