Lucy Watson launches modelling career

She's an author, a jewellery designer, a blogger and a reality TV star but Lucy Watson has added yet another string to her bow – modelling. Living out her childhood dreams, Lucy has signed on to the special bookings division of Models 1 and in her first photo shoot with the agency, the Made in Chelsea beauty proved she was a natural. Posing up a storm and working her magic in front of the camera, Lucy, 23, flaunted her washboard abs and never-ending pins in a series of sultry snaps.

"Models 1 has been a dream since I was younger," said Lucy. "I'm working with a great team there, and I feel as though it's a natural progression for me. They also pioneered Olivia Palermo's career, and she is obviously someone significant in the fashion/media world."

Known for scoring high in the style stakes herself, Lucy showed off her fashion prowess, modelling crop tops, ripped jeans, bomber jackets and checked shirts. While the small-screen star revealed that she would be heading to Australia over the Christmas period to "pursue commercial opportunities," Lucy added that she remains committed to the SW3-based TV series.

Modelling has been a childhood dream for Lucy Watson

"I'm very happy at the moment," she said. "I'm really enjoying this series of Made in Chelsea. I got the chance to live in New York for two months this year." Her manager added: "Lucy has been working incredibly hard for the last two years and this is a really exciting progression for her. We are all very much looking forward to the growth of Lucy's team and what we can do together." The trained actress, who went to drama school instead of university, made her modelling debut earlier this year when she landed a magazine cover.
