Victoria Beckham had barely arrived in New York for Fashion Week on Monday night but she was already upping the style stakes. The 40-year-old rocked an autumn chic camel coloured ensemble as she arrived at JFK airport, to put the final touches on her collection before her show at Fashion Week.

The British beauty rocked an elegant camel coat with large buttons paired with matching tailored trousers, belted at the waist and finished off with a bow. Renowned for her love of mimimalism when it comes to fashion, Victoria kept the rest of her outfit simple, wearing a chic long-sleeved black top and a pair of oversized sunglasses. The former Spice Girl added a pop of colour to her ensemble with a leopard printed shopper bag, and finished off the look with a pair of her trademark stilettos, in a nude shade with a black toed detail from Nicholas Kirkwood. While her new designs have yet to be unveiled, Victoria teased fans on Instagram by sharing a sneak peek of her inspiration for the upcoming autumn/winter 2015 collection, which seems to have come from footballing legend husband David Beckham. The mother-of-four posed for a photo in a chic black coat and grey beanie hat with her back to the camera, rocking a football-shaped backpack from Sportpax (sportpax.co.uk). "Bag inspiration AW15 x VB," she captioned the image.

Although the backpack itself is not part of the collection, the photo sent the designer's fans into a frenzy as they began to speculate whether her new designs will have a more sportswear feel compared to her usually tailored and structured style. Last year saw Victoria enjoy a string of successes from launching her first flagship store in London's trendy Mayfair, to being named the UK's most successful entrepreneur. The style icon's previous collection saw her make waves in the industry after she unveiled her first line of in-house shoes during her spring/summer 2015 show at New York Fashion Week.
