Kim Kardashian's daughter North West may be following in her style icon mum's footsteps, but it seems the mini fashionista could be facing competition from another family member – her cousin, Penelope Disick. Kourtney Kardashian has revealed that the little toddlers have argued over who gets to wear certain shoes, but that they are learning to share the sartorial spotlight.

"Both of the girls love shoes," the 35-year-old told Us Weekly. "Last night North was over and they were fighting over shoes in Penelope's closet and they were so cute. By the end, they were sharing and trying the shoes on each other and having so much fun."

"It reminds me of how Kim and I were when we were little girls," she continued, reminiscing about how she and her sister would rummage through mum Kris Jenner's wardrobe.

"We would always hear my mum talk about designers, and she had all this designer vintage," she revealed. "We had so much fun playing her closet."

It comes as no surprise that Kim and Kourtney's daughters have inherited their sense of style – the sisters have been in the spotlight for years and have conquered the fashion and beauty industries with their glamorous ensembles and make-up looks.

Kim has been making waves in high fashion as she and rapper husband Kanye West have been taking to the biggest front rows at Fashion Week, alongside starring in campaigns for major designers including Balmain.

North has been right by her parents' side, making her front row debut last year at Paris Fashion Week last year, including attending the Givenchy show where she matched mum Kim's chic all-black ensemble.

However, while North may already have started to conquer the world of fashion, Kourtney revealed that Penelope could also set her sights on the industry when she's older.

"My daughter already tries on my shoes, and she plays with my make-up," she admitted. "It's fun, but it brings out the girlier side in me knowing that I'm a role model for her."
