Emily Blunt wows at Cannes Film Festival

Emily Blunt may have been partying the night away with Sienna Miller on Monday, but the following morning the 32-year-old was fresh-faced and radiant as she headed to the Cannes Film Festival. The British beauty, who is married to fellow actor John Krasinski, showcased her style credentials as she promoted new film Sicario in a colourful ensemble.

Emily Blunt wowed in a Peter Pilotto gown

The Devil Wears Prada actress was as elegant as ever in a demure gown by Peter Pilotto with long sleeves and panels of multi-coloured embellishment. She completed the look with a pair of suede green strappy sandals, and wore no jewellery save for her dazzling rings.

Her long blonde bob was worn down in tousled waves, and she added a touch of evening glamour to her daytime look with a slick of statement red lipstick.

This marks the first time that Emily has appeared at the film festival – previous years have seen her attending some of the industry's most glamorous parties on the French Riviera, but not making official appearances at the festival.

Emily and Sienna Miller warmly embraced as they were reunited at the Calvin Klein party

The Edge of Tomorrow star has already wowed fans at this year's event with her effortlessly chic style. Joining Sienna at the Calvin Klein party, she turned heads in an elegant cream dress with halterneck straps and a plunging neckline. Her glossy locks were worn back in a poker straight style, tucked behind her ears to show off her dazzling pair of sparkling earrings.

Husband and The Office star John did not accompany Emily for the star-studded evening, which saw a guestlist including Rachel Weisz and Melanie Laurent. It could be that the actor has stayed back at home in America to look after the couple's daughter Hazel, who they welcomed last February.

Emily has previously admitted that the first-time parents struggled when it came to deciding a name for their child. "I find it really stressful naming a human being," Emily told Ellen DeGeneres on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. "We went through a few different ones and then John found it, and we both really like old lady names."
