Every year the Serpentine Gallery's summer party sees the world's most stylish stars dressing to impress, and this year's guestlist didn't disappoint. Kate Hudson, Alexa Chung, Karlie Kloss and Suki Waterhouse were just some of the fashionistas who pulled out all the stops for the glamorous night out in Kensington Gardens.

Kate Hudson wowed in a sequinned black Louis Vuitton skirt

Kate Hudson looked every inch the style icon as she arrived in a dazzling long black sequinned skirt by Louis Vuitton, featuring a daring thigh-high slit which gave fans a glimpse of her enviably toned legs.

The Almost Famous actress paired the dazzling skirt with a high-necked, sleeveless white top, also from the iconic French label. She accessorised her outfit with a pair of nude Christian Louboutin stilettos and a black-and-white animal print box clutch bag.

Kate wasn't the only fashionista to turn heads with an eye-catching ensemble. Alexa Chung showed off her fashion-forward style credentials as she stepped out in an edgy Christopher Kane dress with blue and grey patterns, as well as black floral lace detailing and a sparkling silver underlay.

The 31-year-old was spotted catching up with Christopher later in the evening, as they mingled with guests who enjoyed Eclipse cocktails including passionfruit martinis and gin-based cobblers.

Former Victoria's Secret angel Karlie Kloss was virtually unrecognisable as she arrived for the bash, with her usually straight blonde locks styled into sideswept curls. The 22-year-old sizzled in an orange midi dress with a cape-esque neckline, accessorising with a black clutch bag and a pair of grey and black strappy flat sandals.

Suki Waterhouse wowed in a pale green ballgown

Meanwhile fellow model Suki Waterhouse could have stepped out of a fairytale as she arrived in a beautiful pale green ballgown by Valentino, which featured a plunging neckline for a high fashion twist. Suki wore her blonde tresses down in tousled waves and kept her make-up to a minimum save for a touch of peachy pink blusher and dramatic black winged eyeliner.
