Abbey Clancy is returning to Britain's Next Top Model

"Britain’s Next Top Model is a show very close to my heart as it's where I started my career so I am thrilled to be returning as head judge," the mother-of-two said in a statement. "We have an incredible team working on this series and I can’t wait to bring my own spin to the show. Lifetime viewers should expect more drama and style than ever before, and the girls better be ready to bring their A game!"

Joing Abbey on the panel will be HFM's editor-at-large Hilary Alexander, male model Paul Sculfor and renowned photographer Nicky Johnston.

Set to be broadcast in 2016 on Lifetime, the new series will focus on aspiring models’ personal stories as they attempt to transform themselves from ‘girls next door’ to fashion icons. It will also incorporate an integrated social media campaign to encourage viewers to get involved with the unfolding action throughout the competition.

The British beauty, who is married to footballer Peter Crouch, announced the happy news on Twitter, as well as revealing the baby's name, after spending a night bonding with her little one. "My Liberty Rose Crouch born last night 6lb8 #perfectlittleprincess," she captioned a touching snap of herself holding her adorable newborn.

Britain's Next Top Model will air on Lifetime in the UK in 2016.
