In an interview with HELLO! Online, Isla Fisher opened up about her favourite thing about awards season – the fashion!
The Confessions of a Shopaholic actress spoke about how much she enjoyed choosing what to wear for the red carpet events, and why she thinks the Golden Globes are the best ceremony to dress for. "It's going to be awfully superficial but I do enjoy the fashion," she said when asked her favourite thing about awards season. "All the beautiful girls dressed up. Hollywood has in some ways become so corporate and you feel like people's own identities don't come out on the red carpet but I think at something like the Golden Globes you get to see the fun fashion."

The star, who was attending the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts International Awards, revealed how important the evening was to her. "I'm so excited as an Australian," she admitted. "So many Australian actors are fortunate enough to be given BAFTA or Oscars and this is an opportunity for us in the Australian industry to give back and celebrate."
Isla spoke about her husband helping choose her outfits
When asked if her husband, Borat star Sacha ever had her say in her outfits, Isla joked: "I always ask. I kind of poll everybody that are unfortunately near me what they think." The mother-of-three has previously spoken about her relationship with the British star, telling the Sunday Telegraph: "Choosing to be together every day is incredibly romantic. I love marriage. I think it's a wonderful institution and it's the most important decision you make. Life is filled with highs and lows, and you have a best friend to share it with you. It's amazing. It's like winning the lottery, having a good partner."
