After weeks of speculation, it has been confirmed that Louis Vuitton has teamed up with Supreme for a limited edition collection. The designs are expected to be unveiled at the brand's menswear show on Thursday, and will be available in stores on 17 July.

The collection reportedly includes three styles of handbags and co-branded jackets, which have all been inspired by New York. And for a high fashion spin on streetwear, there is even a red and white monogrammed skateboard with a bespoke trunk and tool kit.

Louis Vuitton has collaborated with Supreme on a new collection

"You can't have the conversation of New York menswearwithout Supreme right now, because it is such a massive globalphenomenon," Kim Jones, the men's artistic director for Louis Vuitton told WWD of the collaboration. "When I was at college, I used to work at unpacking boxes of Supreme at acompany in London that distributed it when it was just starting out, so it'ssomething I've known all my life.

"I just feel that the strength of its graphic versus the strength of the Louis Vuitton graphic, and that kind of pop-art feeling – it works together perfectly."

It is not the only designer collaboration that is set to cause excitement among fashion fans this season.

Topshop has launched a footwear capsule collection with Molly Goddard for spring 2017. The up-and-coming fashion designer has been part of Topshop's NewGen initiative since late 2015, and her range of leather sandals, heels and boots are available at the high street store now from £95.

Meanwhile Giuseppe Zanotti has teamed up with not one, but two famous faces for two new capsule collections. Zayn Malik has designed a range of trainers and boots for his own Giuseppe for Zayn range, while Jennifer Lopez showcases her signature glamorous style in her luxury Giuseppe x Jennifer footwear collection.

TOMS may be known for its One for One footwear initiative, but the retailer makes its first foray into clothing in SS17 with & Other Stories. Comprised of laid back, bohemian-inspired pieces, it's bound to be a hit when it launches in stores this spring.

Add to that Miranda Kerr's capsule collection for Mother denim, and it is shaping up to be an exciting few months in the fashion world.
