Queen Maxima is known for the effortless sense of style, and didn’t disappoint on Tuesday when she paid a state visit to a farm in Dat Lat in Vietnam. The Queen of the Netherlands dressed her lean figure in an elegant trouser suit, looking oh-so-sophisticated despite the soaring temperature. Her cool outfit consisted of a crisp white v-neck t-shirt, which was tucked into a pair of feminine tailored trousers. An over-sized sleeveless jacket completed her summer-ready look.

For footwear, the 46-year-old opted to wear a pair of caramel hued flat sandals – proving to be a stylish but practical choice as she was shown around the land. To accessorise, Maxima chose a metallic basket bag, an assortment of gold bangles and oversized aviator shades.

Beauty-wise, Maxima wore her glossy blonde hair down in a middle parting, while a swoop of rose-hued blush and semi-sheer red gloss enhanced her natural good looks.

STORY: Relive Queen Maxima and King Willem Alexander's wedding day

The Dutch Queen has been spotted in many vibrant, colour pop ensembles this season during royal visits both at home and abroad. Earlier in the month, while attending a seminar in The Hague, she turned heads in a violet form-fitting midi dress. The bold design featured oversized ruffled cuffs, lined in a contrasting pastel pink hue, which went beautifully with her matching suade clutch and leg-lengthening court shoes.

Meanwhile, in April, while celebrating her husband, King Willem-Alexander’s 50th birthday, she looked stunning in a light lilac asymmetric gown, emblazoned with intricate gold and violet floral embroidery detailing and whimsical leaf patterns.

During the party, the monarch paid tribute to his wife during his speech, saying: “We are just getting started, we’ve only been together 18 years. We can be happy together for a long time. She is critical but also caring and forgiving when I am capricious. She is a very special woman, and I am very fortunate to have met her.”
