Queen Letizia turned heads when she stepped out in Madrid on Thursday with her husband King Felipe VI to carry out a joint royal engagement. The Spanish queen, who is renowned for her timeless sense of style, looked sharp in a crisp white blouse that featured flared cap sleeves and a cut out slit detail. The oversized piece was teamed with navy cigarette trousers and leg-lengthening patent black court shoes. To accessorise, Letizia opted for an oversized metallic clutch and pretty drop earrings.

Beauty-wise, Letizia styled her long, caramel-hued hair down in a straight, sleek do with an off-side parting. The mother-of-two kept her make-up nice and natural, enhancing her large eyes with black liner across the top and bottom of her lids and elongating her lashes with mascara. A natural foundation and rose-hued blush enhanced her complexion. A berry lipgloss and perfectly groomed brow completed her look.

King Felipe, meanwhile, looked dapper in a smart suit, wearing black trousers and a coordinating jacket with a pinstriped shirt and fun polka dot tie.

Letizia recycled her Nina Ricci dress earlier in the week

Of late, down-to-earth Letizia has been spotted out and about in a number of recycled pieces from her designer wardrobe. This included a striking red Nina Ricci crinkle-effect dress, which she wore when visiting a museum in Malaga earlier in the week, which she had previously worn when meeting Michelle Obama last summer.

Last week Letizia was spotted out in Cantabria wearing a Hugo Boss top which she had worn to the Accion Magistral Awards in Madrid back in 2016. The sleeveless design was adorned with a chic grid pattern and featured a flared, peplum-inspired hem.
