Sarah Jessica Parker turned heads in a blue dress at the New York City Ballet's 2017 Fall Fashion Gala. The Sex and the City actress pulled out all of the stops when she walked the red carpet at the Lincoln Center in New York on Thursday night, rocking a strapless metallic number with fringed skirt from fashion label Monse. Sarah carried a matching blue satin bag from Gabriela Hearst and also incorporated a similar shade into her eye make-up, sporting midnight blue eyeshadow on her lids.

The 52-year-old was joined at the bash by her actor husband Matthew Broderick, who opted for a classic black tuxedo. But Sarah and Matthew weren't the only A-list couple in attendance, with Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys walking the red carpet too. The Americans co-stars posed up a storm, with Keri sporting a black minidress with strong frill across the neckline and hem, completing her look with clear PVC high heel pumps, while Matthew donned a dapper tuxedo and black tie.

Christine actress Rebecca Hall followed in Sarah's footsteps for the dance event, also choosing to wear a Monse dress. Dotted with silver grommets and zip detailing, Rebecca matched her attire with simple high heel sandals and carried a boxy clutch. In addition, Michelle Monaghan rocked the red carpet in a blue and green dress from Prabal Gurung, while Nicky Hilton took the opportunity to show off her growing baby belly.

The socialite, who is currently expecting her second child with husband James Rothschild, wore a strapless red Oscar de la Renta dress, carried an Edie Parker bag and accessorised with Cartier bling.
