Kim Kardashian is taking online shopping to the next level with her innovative new ScreenShop app. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star already co-owns a string of DASH boutiques with her sisters Khloe and Kourtney, and now the 37-year-old style icon is offering fans the chance to buy the latest trends from the convenience of their phones.

Kim has tied herself to new app ScreenShop, which is being dubbed the 'Shazam of Fashion' thanks to the platform's ability to locate attire through the snap of a screenshot with the use of artificial intelligence. "We spent well over a year getting this all together and ready to be what it is today, which is something I've never seen before," she gushed to BuzzFeed. "I've never seen an app where you can screenshot something and within seconds bring up a whole digital fashion store to be able to pick out from all range prices and sizes of similar things to what you're wearing. That's super exciting to me, so I just knew right away that I wanted to be involved."

Kim Kardashian has launched a new fashion app

Several top brands have signed up to make their wares available on the app, including popular retailers ASOS, Boohoo.com, Forever 21, TopShop, Saks Fifth Avenue and Yeezy, the high-end label created by Kim's rapper husband Kanye West. There are currently 10 million products available to discover in the ScreenShop database and Kim is convinced the digital platform will also serve as a better outlet for online sales for entrepreneurs, fashion bloggers and smaller, independent labels.

"Shoppers are so much more visual and so much more creative than maybe in the past," she said. "I truly think if they see something worn a certain way, if you market it that way and merchandise it that way in the store, people will buy it... So I think it's just making everything easy, having the tools and just showing people." ScreenShop is now available to download on the iPhone via the Apple App Store.
