Royal style watch: the most stunning outfits from the world's regal ladies this week

What a week it's been for royal style! Queen Maxima and King Willem-Alexander came to London on their first state visit in 35 years and the Dutch Queen has treated us to some fabulous outfits. The Queen, the Duchess of Cambridge and the Duchess of Cornwall all donned their finest gowns for a state banquet on their behalf at Buckingham Palace.

Then we've had daily style bursts from the Duchess of Sussex on her royal tour of Australia and the South Pacific with her husband Prince Harry. The pregnant Duchess has wowed us with a gorgeous selection of dresses for both formal engagements and informal daytime events.

Duchess Meghan

Meghan's breath-taking white gown by New York designer Theia was absolutely stunning. The Duchess wore the dress for her first official engagement in Tonga with her husband, Prince Harry. She wore the gown, which featured sparkling shoulder details, for a private audience with His Majesty King Tupou VI and Queen Nanasipau-u.

The royal teamed it with a stunning aquamarine ring from her late mother-in-law Princess Diana's collection, Aquazzura Deneuve heels, a clutch by Givenchy and earrings by Birks.

Days earlier, the Duchess stepped out to attend a state reception in Fiji in her first ever royal gown! She looked sensational for the formal dinner, hosted by the President of Fiji at the Grand Pacific Hotel.

Her full-length light blue frock was by designer SAFiYAA, and featured a gorgeous cape silhouette.

Meghan also wowed us with a chic ivory outfit by Zimmerman on her arrival in Fiji, with a bold Stephen Jones hat to match. She teamed the look with her favourite Kayu box clutch, Tabitha Simmons heels and a pair of pearl and diamond earrings gifted to her by the Queen.

Duchess of Cambridge

Kate wore an absolutely dazzling dress for the state banquet at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday in honour of the Dutch Monarchs.

The mum-of-three looked stunning in a blue Alexander McQueen gown and she wore some exquisite jewellery: Princess Diana's Collingwood pearl earrings along with Queen Alexandra's wedding gift necklace and the beautiful Lovers Knot tiara.

The Dutch royal showed us all how to dress this week as she landed in London for her two day state visit with her husband King Willem-Alexander.

On Tuesday evening, Maxima looked sensational in a striking blue gown with sheer sleeves and a floor-length skirt, along with the Stuart tiara featuring the Stuart diamond - which made its first appearance since Queen Juliana's 1972 State Visit to the UK.

On day two, the Netherlands Queen dressed brightly in a stunning pink and black dress by Oscar de la Renta. She paired her eye catching outfit with some black heels and matching clutch and hat.

Princess Michael of Kent

t Maybe our favourite look of the week – Princess Michael is like a fairy-tale queen in this beautiful golden coat with spectacular necklace and tiara. The royal attended the state banquet at Buckingham Palace.

Princess Mary

Crown Princess Mary looks amazing in this floor-length navy sequinned gown that falls off the shoulder. The royal wore it to a traditional dinner party at Christiansborg Palace in Denmark.

Queen Letizia

The Spanish Queen has worn so many gorgeous outfits this week we can hardly keep up. We couldn't choose one, so here are three of her best.

First up is this stunning Carolina Herrera monochrome dress from Monday's journalism awards ceremony. The frock is dark navy with an eye-catching white slash detail across the hip. We love!

Next up is Letizia's elegant deep red dress with cinched-in waist, slashed sleeve detail and matching red shoes. There aren't many people who can carry this off, but she totally nailed it.

Then there's the Letizia's beautiful monochrome lace dress which she wore to the 2018 Princess Asturias Awards last Thursday evening. Letizia looked amazing in this chic outfit.

The Queen

Her Majesty loves to wear bright colours to stand out from the crowd and this gorgeous turquoise coat dress and matching hat is one of our favourite styles on her in recent years. We love how she has coordinated her floral dress to the pretty pink flowers on her hat.

Princess Victoria

A striking outfit from Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden this week. The royal wore a gorgeous navy velvet suit with matching heels to Generation Pep's "Pep Forum" in Stockholm.

Queen Mathilde

A stunning look from the Belgian royal on a visit to Portugal. Mathilde's monochrome dress with patterned skirt and high collar is such a chic style.

The Duchess of Cornwall

A new look for Camilla this week with a sophisticated Fiona Clare navy coat dress with pretty white pattern detailing. She wore the outfit to greet The King and Queen of the Netherlands on behalf of Her Majesty at the Dutch Ambassador’s Residence on Tuesday afternoon.
