Links of London: My style edit

I've loved Links of London ever since I discovered their Sweetie bracelet and made it my life goal to fill mine with as many charms as humanly possible.

Fast forward a few (read: many) years and I love the progression they've made with their jewellery – with a focus on quality and design, their classic yet contemporary and fashion-forward creations put them at the top of the jewellery market.

So you can imagine I was delighted to be asked to create a small edit of their new collection...

Their jewellery is elegant and delicate, so I like to layer up for a more modern touch. In my opinion, the more the merrier! I love the look of a wrist laden down with metal bracelets – and, top tip alert, wearing lots of bracelets actually makes the top of your arms look thinner as it balances out the proportions!

The bracelets I'm wearing here are the Amulet charm cuffs, the newest addition to the Links of London family. They can carry your favourite charms, but in a more sleek and minimalist way than the iconic Sweetie bracelet. I also wear them on their own without any charms for an elegant, understated look.

You can also layer necklaces. A trend pioneered by the fashionista likes of the Olsen twins and Alexa Chung, it's a great way to jazz up an otherwise understated look. I love wearing a simple shirt and jumper ensemble, and adding necklaces for an extra dimension to the outfit.

Something else I love about Links of London is the personalisation and 'make your own' aspect. Making up these necklaces was a whole lot of fun... I added my initial – naturally, who doesn't love everything with their initials on nowadays?! – a gorgeous gold shell and a diamond teardrop.

Last year, I gave my four sisters a Links of London necklace each with different additions personalised to them and it went down a storm! They LOVED them.

Links of London also offer an in-store and online engraving service, which I love – it just adds a lovely, personal touch to a gift. Plus the packaging is beautiful... Can you tell I'm a fan?!
