He has long been the love-’em-and-leave-’em lothario of Hollywood, but Jack Nicholson has finally had the tables turned on him. His 30-year-old lover, The Practice star Lara Flynn Boyle, has called time on their year-long affair and is said to be seeing TV actor Eric Danes.
“Jack was more into the relationship than she was and after a year together she wants to date other people,” said a friend of the actress. But Lara, 33 years younger than the devilishly charismatic star of The Shining and Chinatown, was aware of the actor’s indisposition to any kind of commitment. “Jack is solo, solo, solo,” she said in an earlier interview. “It’s a learning experience being around him.”
Before hooking up with Lara, Jack lived with Rebecca Broussard, the mother of his two youngest children, Lorraine, ten, and Raymond, eight. Whether he returns to the family fold remains to be seen, as he recently moved in, The Odd Couple-style, with another renowned Hollywood hellraiser, Marlon Brando.
