Having recently joined the dad-of-two club, during interviews to promote his new film Defiance Liev Schrieber has been lamenting the loss of "me time". There was a chance for the actor and his partner Naomi Watts to enjoy an adult-only outing this week, though, as they attended the WWII drama's New York premiere.
It was 40-year-old Naomi's first red carpet bash since welcoming the couple's son Samuel Kai Schreiber on December 13. The couple are also parents to 18-month-old Alexander Pete.
Liev wasn't the only star enjoying a night out with his leading lady. Daniel Craig arrived with glamorous US producer girlfriend Satsuki Mitchell on his arm, but played dumb when a reporter pointed out the screening had turned into "date night".
"Date night? What on earth is that?" asked Daniel, who stars opposite Billy Elliot star Jamie Bell and Liev in the tale of three Polish Jewish siblings battling the Nazis. "We don't go on those any more!" he added.
