Fans of New York's most famous style icons will no doubt be toasting the news with a Cosmopolitan. Sarah Jessica Parker is reuniting with her Manolo-shod colleagues Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon for a second big screen outing of Sex And The City.
Last year's movie, which was based on the TV series and featured protagonist Carrie Bradshaw's nuptials to her lover Mr Big, grossed £281 million worldwide. Those eager to know if married life suits their heroine will have to wait until summer 2010, however, to see how she's getting along.
Writer and director Michael King expressed his excitement about "working with these amazing actresses again" but refused to spill the beans on details.
"I would love to give everyone more information about the sequel... but I'm busy with my 'Sex' life," he joked.
