Brad and Angelina take art in a rare night out without the kids As parents of six small children, it’s not often Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie get the chance to have a night out as a couple outside of award ceremonies and film premieres.

But at the weekend they set some time aside to step out together for a private tour round an art exhibition at Los Angeles’s Museum of Contemporary Arts.

The pair took in works by the likes of modern masters such as Jackson Pollock and Mark Rothko at the show, which is being held to celebrate the museum’s 30th anniversary.

Angelina looked graceful in a black strapless Armani Prive gown. Meanwhile Brad, still sporting his beaded beard look, was slick in a black Tom Ford suit.

Later, the Mr and Mrs Smith stars attended a gala for the art museum, where Lady Gaga stole the show with a spectacular performance.

Wearing an outrageous silver-grey hat designed by architect Frank Gehry, the New York-born singer wowed the crowd thumping out new single Speechless on a pink grand piano.

Among the famous faces enjoying the show were film director Guy Ritchie, who was seen chatting with singer Gwen Stefani, and actress Kate Beckinsale, accompanied by her film-maker husband Len Wiseman.
