Christina Applegate weds Martyn LeNoble in intimate LA ceremony

Up All Night actress Christina Applegate wed her musician fiancé Martyn LeNoble in a secret ceremony in LA on Saturday.

Amid the hype of the Oscars, their intimate family ceremony quietly took place at their home. The only clue of the goings on was when Dutch bassist Martyn tweeted, "What a glorious day."

The bride wore a Maria Lucia Hohan dress and their wedding rings were designed by Neil Lane.

The Emmy-winning actress had been engaged to Martyn since Valentine's Day 2010. They have a two-year-old daughter together, Sadie Grace.

The performers had been friends before they started dating in 2007. "We had always cared deeply for one another when we were friends. And he came and put me under his wing. That was it – he was supposed to come," she said.

After recovering from a double mastectomy in 2008 she spoke about their relationship, "Without him, I don't know if I could've gone through any of it," she said. "He came around at a time when there was a lot of loss in my life on many levels, so he's been a really incredible help."

The former Married... With Children spoke about her hopes of having more children but sadly may not be able to. "Because of some things that happened during my pregnancy, I don’t know if I can. I hope I can. We’ll see," she said.

This is the second marriage for both of them. Christina was married to writer-director Johnathon Schaech for six years before they divorced in 2007.

Christina, who plays Rachel's sister in Friends, has previously been linked to a string of rockers including Guns N' Roses drummer Steven Adler, Counting Crows frontman Adam Duritz as well as Brad Pitt.

The mum-of-one recently left Up All Night and is set to revive her character Veronica Corningstone in the sequel Anchorman: The Legend Continues, which is due out December 20.
