Walford Square residents had better watch out – it looks like trouble is coming to the Queen Vic.
Danny Dyer and his fictional family the Carters are making their EastEnders debut at Christmas, and if looks are anything to go by, they're going to cause a stir.
Actor Danny is seen for the first time in promotional shots in his new role as pub landlord Mick Carter, staring proudly at the camera with his clan behind him and his British bulldog at his feet.
The 36-year-old actor has filmed the first scenes with his on-screen wife Linda, played by Bad Girls actress Kellie Bright.
In the lineup his character Mick – brother to Shirley Carter – and Linda are joined by two of their children; mummy's boy Johnny and tomboy Nancy.
Johnny is played by Sam Strike, and has a secret which puts him at the centre of a family drama.
Meanwhile Nancy – aka Maddy Hill – is described as stubborn and fiery, as well as being a caring, loyal friend.
Completing the family unit is the familiar face of Shirley, who is portrayed by Linda Henry, and Mick's other sister Tina, played by This Life actress Luisa Bradshaw-White , who will make her on-screen debut in November.
