The 49-year-old father-of-two and his partner Aliona Vilani were voted off the show after finding themselves in the bottom two and losing the dance-off against Mrs Browns Boy’s star Jennifer Gibney and Tristan MacManus. Jennifer and Tristan's Waltz to Natural Woman by Aretha Franklin outdid Gregg and Aliona's Charleston to Hey Good Looking by Ray Charles and judges Len Goodman, Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood unanimously chose to put them through to the next stage of the competition. Gregg Wallace and Aliona Vilani As they left the dancefloor, Gregg reflected on his Strictly experience."I have to say it is the most terrifying thing I have ever, ever done," he said told presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman. "What I really liked most of all was practice, coming in here [the studio] really scared me. If I come back again, can you just watch me while I practice?!" Addressing Alion, Gregg said: "Thank you so much for your patience – you are a saint!"
