Sacha Baron Cohen
is perhaps better known to audiences as his alter-ego Ali G, a stereotype of a suburban male who thinks he's "street" and imitates British Jamaican culture.
The character found fame on Channel 4 on Da Ali G Show
, which invited unsuspecting celebrities and government officials on to the show, to be asked absurd questions.

Sacha also played several other characters on the show, including Borat Sagdiyev and Brüno Gehard, who would themselves go on to star in feature films, including Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan

Before becoming a household name though, Sacha studied at the University of Cambridge

After working closely with Channel 4 for several years on Da Ali G Show,
which won various awards including BAFTA for Best Comedy, Sacha branched out into film,
working with Johnny Depp, director Martin Scorsese, and appearing in the Oscar-winning film Les Miserables
In 2004 Sacha became engaged to Australian actress Isla Fisher
, and the pair married in 2010. They have two daughters, six-year-old Olive and four-year-old Elula.
