Emma Stone moved to Hollywood at the age of 15 to pursue an acting career
Emma was born on 6 November 1988 – the daughter of Jeff and Krista Stone, co-owners of Arizona's Camelback Golf Club. Emma and her younger brother Spencer spent part of her childhood living in the club's resort.
Her interest in acting was sparked at a young age, when she appeared in several productions for the Valley Youth Theatre. Her parents also sent the youngster for private acting lessons with a coach who had Hollywood connections.
Aged 15, Emma moved to LA with her mother to peruse an acting career. This move paid off when in 2007 she was given a part in Superbad, the film which brought her to widespread attention.
Three years later the up and coming star won her first leading role in Easy A, for which she received a Golden Globe nod. The part for which she is probably best known, however, is playing Peter Parker's love interest Gwen Stacey in the Amazing Spider-Man film series.
Life imitated art, and Emma began dating the man behind Peter – Andrew Garfield.
