Christmas Day is set to have a bit more sparkle this year thanks to a special festive edition of Strictly Come Dancing. Sir Bruce Forsyth will return to the ballroom alongside Tess Daly to host the Christmas Special – and the six celebrities taking part have now been revealed.
The line-up features six of the most memorable contestants from the show's past. The ladies set to do battle in the ballroom have been announced as singer Sophie Ellis Bextor, actress Lisa Riley and S Club 7's Rachel Stevens. The gentlemen are Olympic gymnast Louis Smith, TV presenter Chris Hollins and astrologer Russell Grant.

This year's Christmas show will have a pantomime theme, with each star taking on an iconic role from some of the UK's favourite pantos. Joining in on the festive fun will be the Strictly judges Len Goodman, Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood.
The professional dancers have also been revealed. Alijaz Skorjanec, Robin Windsor and Tristan MacManus will partner the ladies, while Aliona Vilani, Iveta Lukosiute and Joanne Clifton will partner the men.
