Helen George is the 13th celebrity to be confirmed for Strictly Come Dancing 2015. The actress, who is best known for playing the role of Nurse Trixie Franklin in popular BBC One drama Call The Midwife, joins the likes of Peter Andre, Jay McGuiness and Carol Kirkwood who will all be competing for the glitterball trophy.
Helen said: "I'm really excited to be joining Strictly. I know it's going to be a challenge and if I'm honest I'm slightly terrified, but I can't wait to get my tan and sequins on!"

The blonde beauty is a Royal Academy of Music graduate and has sung backing vocals on tour with Elton John as well as performing in Andrew Lloyd Webber's original cast of The Woman in White.
Helen's film credits include Paul W S Anderson’s remake of The Three Musketeers, 7Lives and Scar Tissue.
Earlier this week Jamelia confirmed she will also be taking part in the show. The Thank You singer, who has two daughters, said: "My girls are huge fans of Strictly, but when I told them I was doing it they laughed as they know that dancing is not my forté!"
Mysterious Girl singer Peter Andre, meanwhile, revealed he is already nervous. After breaking the news, the hopeful tweeted: "Finally I'm putting on the shoes ..... And the outfits .... Plse Wish me luck, I'm nervous :))))))) @bbcstrictly #strictly."
The final two celebrity contestants for the new series of Strictly Come Dancing will be revealed on The One Show on Thursday 27 August on BBC One from 7pm.
