Four Of Diamonds are set to make a dramatic return to the X Factor live shows this weekend, taking over boy group Brooks Way's spot in the competition.

The feisty girl group, who made it through to Louis Walsh's Judge’s House in Ibiza this year, had only been performing together as a foursome for a few weeks before they initially auditioned for the judges.

Speaking about his decision to bring them back, mentor Louis said: "I was really impressed with the girls at Judges’ Houses but only had three spots to fill for the Live Shows.

"At the time a lot of viewers were disappointed that I didn’t put the girls through, now that a place has opened up in my category, I’ve listened to the fans and am delighted to be bringing the girls back. They're a great girl group and I'm hoping will take me all the way to the final."

Four Of Diamonds, consisting of Caroline, Lauren, Yasmin and Sophia, had initially won over viewers with their rendition of Lordes' Royals in Ibiza.

Four Of Diamonds, who describe their sound as a "modern twist on the classic sixties style", will now gear up for Motown Week on Saturday night.

The X Factor returns on Saturday (October 15) at 8pm on ITV.
