National Television Awards 2017: Complete winners list - live updates

It's television's biggest night of the year! Dermot O'Leary and Scarlett Moffatt kicked off its proceedings with aplomb. Held at London's O2, tonight's NTAs will see hundreds of stars come together to celebrate television's best-loved shows and actors from the past 12 months.

This year includes a brand new category, Period Drama. Recognising the huge appeal of historical sagas, the award sees ITV newcomer Victoria and the BBC's Poldark renew their Sunday night rivalry - alongside returning favourite Call The Midwife, Peaky Blinders and Netflix newcomer Stranger Things.
