With only a few days until the Love Actually sequel airs on our TV screens, fans will be pleased to know that heartthrob Andrew Lincoln makes a wonderful return - with his famous cue cards in tow! There is more facial hair now. But he still loves her.... #rednosedayactually."
Another behind-the-scenes image sees on-screen love interest Keira Knightley watching the action from behind the camera. "At least someone thinks Andrew Lincoln is funny. Keira Knightley more beautiful than ever. #tomeyouareperfect #rednosedayactually #march24th," teased Emma. In the original 2003 movie, Mark confessed his love to Juliet (Keira Knightley), the wife of his best friend Peter, played by acclaimed actor Chiwetel Ejiofor. Chatting to Entertainment Weekly, Andrew recently said: "Richard [Curtis] got in touch about a month ago and mentioned he had something in mind. I'm shooting something in March. It's fun and going to be really great to see everyone again. It's very exciting. It's a very cool thing."
Over the past few weeks, Richard Curtis' partner has been teasing fans with cryptic posts and pictures as production for upcoming ten-minute Comic Relief special, dubbed Red Nose Day Actually, continues. Other stars set to reprise their roles for the revivial include Liam Neeson, Rowan Atkinson and Hugh Grant, while Emma Thompson has confirmed that her character won't make an appearance following the sad passing on her onscreen husband Alan Rickman. The sequel, which will centre on what the characters are up to now in 2017, will be shown on 24 March on BBC One as part of the Red Nose Day appeal.
