Andrew Garfield imitates Cher from Clueless in hilarious clip

Film stars Andrew Garfield, Adam Driver, Alden Ehrenreich, and Lucas Hedges have all tried their hand at an iconic speech from the 90s cult film Clueless, in which Alicia Silverstone's character Cher delivers a speech about Haitian immigrants, and about why the USA should allow them entry (while comparing it to her father's dinner party).

W magazine shared the brilliant video on Twitter, writing: "'In conclusion, may I remind you, that it does not say 'RSVP' on the Statue of Liberty.' Channelling Cher Horowitz." The four actors looked at the camera as they all took very different approaches to the speech. Andrew imitated Cher's ditzy demeanour from the film, while Adam and Lucas delivered the speech straight-faced. Fans were quick to praise the brilliant video, with one writing: "Andrew Garfield is a treasure. Also, Cher Horowitz pronounces it, 'Hey Tee Inns.' C'mon." Another added: "Adam Driver's reading honestly rivalled his performance in Silence."

This isn't the first time W magazine has gender swapped lines, as Cate Blanchett, Alicia Vikander and Eddie Redmayne were among those to recreate a scene from Gone with the Wind, with the men delivering the line: "But where will I go? What will I do?" with the female actresses replying: "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn."

Andrew recently hilariously made headlines after kissing Ryan Reynolds at the Golden Globe awards, and explained just what happened on The Graham Norton Show. "It was a ridiculous thing," he said, laughing. "I said to Ryan Reynolds, 'If you win, kiss me instead of your wife.' And he said, 'Yeah, that's great.'… And I loved that we were so deep in the background so you kind of have to look and see if it was actually real."
