EastEnders actor Aaron Sidwell has confirmed the end of his marriage to Grace Isted, four years after they separated. The 28-year-old, who plays Steven Beale, took to his Twitter page to share his news: "After 4 years I'm finally divorced!!" The message was followed by emojis of wine glasses, champagne bottle and high five hands. He also added: "Here's to the future." Aaron and Grace married in 2009 but they parted ways three years later. They are parents to two young girls, Matilda and Isla.
EastEnders star Aaron Sidwell has revealed he has divorced wife Grace Isted
Since splitting from Grace, the soap star has been dating actress Tricia Adele-Turner. He often takes to his social media pages to share lovely pictures of his daughters and girlfriend. Speaking about fatherhood in 2012, Aaron described himself as a "sensible dad". He said: "I'm just a dad really, I'm very sensible. Not at work, I'm by far the most immature I think, I'll be the one making fart noises. In my home life I'm very settled down, I've got two little girls and I drive a dad car. I'm not cool any more, I drive a Fiat Punto Grande. It used to be a Ford Focus."
Last May, the father-of-two returned to Albert Square having left the show in 2008. Aaron has since shared his delight at being invited back on the popular BBC One soap. "Yeah, it's been everything I thought it would be," he told DigitalSpy. "I think that my feeling about sticking around as an actor is that I'm very happy here, it suits my personal life and I really love the work here. As a lot of Steven's life has been lived off screen up until this point and he was one of the first babies seen on the show, I think it's nice for the viewers to see him develop and grow as a character." He continued: "I've been playing this character now for longer than I've played anybody. I stepped into this role when I was 18 and I'm now 28. For me it's important that he's here. I think for the Beale family it's also really important that Steven's here."
