Drew Barrymore walks Blended red carpet four weeks after giving birth

Four weeks after giving birth to her second daughter, Drew Barrymore is firmly back in the spotlight. The star walked the red carpet in Berlin on Monday for the international premiere of her new film, Blended.

Joining her was co-star Adam Sandler, and the pair, who teamed up together in 2004 for 50 First Dates, were in high spirits as they promoted their new project.

Drew picked out a navy blue and white Sass and Bride dress for the occasion, while Adam looked casual in a red plaid shirt and white jacket.

Whilst walking the carpet, Drew stopped to talk to a set of twins who were on the hunt for autographs and pictures.

Just met these lovely Awesome twins in Berlin at #blended world premier! #lovethem Drew captioned the photo which showed her meeting the excited pair. Also on Monday Drew's episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show aired. During her appearance on the programme the 39-year-old actress, spoke about her sudden return to work to promote her new film.

"It feels like a miracle and it's also so awesome, I have to say," said Drew, of stepping out so soon after the birth. "First of all, I love this movie and I would never not show up for it, and I feel so good and happy. My kid is healthy. I have nothing to complain about. I'm so blessed. "Drew also revealed that her eldest child — 20-month-old daughter Olive — had happily welcomed baby

Frankie into the family.

"She really gets that she has a sister and she says, 'Frankie, sister'," said Drew. "She loves playing with her and she's not mad about it at all, yet. It's all positive at this moment."

Speaking about how she and her art consultant husband Will Kopelman had chosen the name Frankie, Drew explained: "It came to my husband and I about a few months before she was born and it was just sort of like, 'I think this is it,' and then we gave ourselves the room to change our minds but we never did. "Not the most interesting story," she said, to which funnywoman Ellen quipped: "No, it's really not."

"And my mother-in-law's maiden name is Franco and I love  her so much so it reminds me of her as well," laughed Drew.

Blended is in cinemas in the UK on 23 May.
