Professional dancer Ola Jordan looks set to miss the Strictly Come Dancing final on Saturday following a "freak accident". The dancer reportedly suffered damage to her leg and hips while training for Channel 4 show The Jump, leaving her on crutches and with a cast on her left leg. The 32-year-old and her dance partner Steve Backshall were voted off the show in November, however she was still involved in the show as a participant in the group dances. Now the Polish dancer will miss the Strictly Come Dancing final on Saturday due to her injuries. Ola has also been forced to pull out of The Jump, where she was due to compete alongside the likes of Mike Tindall, Sally Bercow and Heather Mills in January.

Ola Jordan suffered "career-changing" injuries while training for The Jump

A spokesperson for Channel 4 confirmed the news, and said: "Unfortunately, due to injury, Ola is no longer able to take part." Ola was training to compete in the winter sports reality show at an indoor ski slope in Hertfordshire when she fell and sustained the "career-changing injuries". A source told The Sun: "It was a freak accident and nobody's fault, but she fell heavily and the injuries are very serious." Ola has been a professional dancer on Strictly since 2006, and won the show with Chris Hollins in 2009. However the star has faced persistent rumours that she would be quitting the celebrity dance competition at the end of the current series.

Ola Jordan faced speculation she was leaving the show after her hair transformation last month

Days after being voted off the show last month, Ola underwent a dramatic transformation and swapped her trademark blonde locks for a darker look. Some viewers saw this as hint that she was preparing to leave the show, as Strictly's professional female dancers are reportedly under strict rules from the producers to maintain a certain hair colour and style.

Taking to Twitter to speak out about the rumours, Ola posted: "I'm really confused about this EXCLUSIVE Ola Jordan....stories!!! Where do they get it from???? Mmmm.... Cos they didn't get it from Me!!!" The dancer and her husband, former Strictly dancer James Jordan, have not yet commented following her accident.
