Frankie Bridge, née Frankie Sandford, has spoken about her nerves ahead of this weekend's Strictly Come Dancing final. The pop star will compete against fellow celebrity contestants Mark Wright, Caroline Flack and Simon Webbe for the coveted glitterball trophy. Making an appearance on Good Morning Britain with her professional dance partner Kevin Clifton, The Saturdays singer outlined the differences between dancing with her band and performing solo. "I'm used to being with four other girls and nine times out of ten you think, 'No one's looking at me if I mess up,'" said Frankie. "But this, you're really in the spotlight, it's live and I'm completely out of my comfort zone. You don't want to let anyone down."

She added: "I'm excited to be in the final, but also there's a lot of pressure. There's a lot going on in my head. There are three dances, trying to remember things we did weeks ago and learning something new.

"I think everyone's going to expect it to be perfect and the Showdance to be amazing." While Frankie – who has the highest average score out of all the contestants on the show – is a favourite to win, the 26-year-old confessed that she doesn't feel as if she's mastered Ballroom or Latin.

The What About Us singer, who will be supported by her fellow bandmates on the night, also opened up about the all-important Showdance. "It's going to be pure Kevin and Frankie – everything everyone probably expects it to be. I'm really excited about it, it's definitely going to be my favourite dance," she said, while adding: "It would be a nightmare if I had to do Salsa again. I never want to do that again."

The mum of one-year-old son Parker praised Kevin for never seeing them in the bottom two and having to perform in a dance-off. "I have had two amazing dance partners," Kevin reciprocated. When asked who was better out of Frankie or his partner from last year Susanna Reid, who was presenting Good Morning Britain, Kevin diplomatically replied: "I mean I just didn't think it could get any better than last year with the wonderful Susanna Reid, but Frankie's been amazing, so awesome and so lovely." Kevin will face his fiancée Karen Hauer in the finals, as she will compete with former TOWIE star Mark. Kevin's sister Joanne also danced professionally on the show, but was booted out in week six with DJ Scott Mills.
