Happy birthday, Bruce Willis! As the action star celebrates turning 60, HELLO! Online takes a look at what the stars have in store for Bruce, and you…

This is what Bruce, who is a Pisces, can be expecting today:

The Equinox is all about the Sun's entry into Aries. When that occurs over the coming weekend, the astrological emphasis will shift significantly away from your sign. But before that happens, there is to be a Solar Eclipse at the very last degree of Pisces. The last degree of any sign, belongs as fully to that sign as does the first degree or, indeed, any other degree. The cosmos has a gift in store for you now. It is for you and nobody else. It may look a little odd at first but you should neither fear it nor reject it.

Bruce Willis was born in 1955 in West Germany, but at the age of nearly two moved back to the US with his family. As a youngster, Bruce suffered with a stutter, but like many before and after him, discovered a love of acting which also helped him to overcome his struggle.

After enrolling and then dropping out of college, Bruce moved to New York City where he became an off-Broadway actor, before moving to Los Angeles for his big break.

His portrayal of wise-cracking detective David Addison in Moonlighting led to his first Emmy and Golden Globes awards, and by the late Eighties, Bruce had morphed into an action superhero thanks to the now cult Die Hard trilogy.

A difficult few years for Bruce began until 1994, when he took on dramatic character roles in Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction and Nobody's Fool alongside Paul Newman.

The Nineties were a balancing act for Bruce of high profile hits, including The Sixth Sense and Armageddon, and disappointing misses, but in 2000 he found himself back on stage at the Emmys winning Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for his work on the smash hit series Friends.

In 2007 Bruce returned to the Die Hard franchise with a fourth film, Live Free or Die Hard, and in 2013, a fifth film, A Good Day to Die Hard was also released.

In 2015, Bruce pleased his many fans when he announced that three decades after beginning his career in New York City, he would be returning for his first stint on Broadway, in the play Misery, the psychological horror novel by Stephen King.

For many years Republican supporter Bruce was half of a Hollywood power couple, marrying Demi Moore in 1987 after three months of dating. The two set up camp in Hailey, Idaho, 900 miles from Hollywood, and there they raised their three daughters, Rumer, Scout and Tallulah.

To the dismay of fans, the pair separated in 1998 and officially divorced in October 2000, after 13 years of marriage.

In 2008, Bruce began stepping out with another beautiful brunette, and despite a 24-year age gap, the connection between him and model Emma Heming was instant.

In 2012, Emma and Bruce welcomed a daughter, Bruce's fourth, Mabel Ray, and the pair announced they had welcomed a second daughter, Evelyn Penn, and Bruce's fifth, in 2014.
