Zoolander 2 trailer: Watch Benedict Cumberbatch and Justin Bieber's amusing cameos

The Zoolander 2 trailer, featuring hilarious cameos from the likes of Justin Bieber and Benedict Cumberbatch, has been released. Original lead cast members Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson are reunited in the movie, which sees their male model characters Derek Zoolander and Hans McDonald struggle to stay relevant in the fashion industry.

Now considered "old" and "lame", the duo face competition from the hottest new model All, played by an almost unrecognisable Benedict Cumberbatch. The Oscar-nominee gamely sports long hair for the amusing cameo, during which he is asked by Derek: "Are you like a male model or a female model?"

Benedict is one of many celebrities to make a cameo in the movie, with Miley Cyrus, Lenny Kravitz and Demi Lovato among the stars that become victims of an assassin who is systematically killing off the world's most beautiful people.

Justin Bieber is also among the victims, and can be seen flashing Zoolander's signature 'Blue Steel' pose as he passes away.

With the help of a special agent played by Penelope Cruz, the duo discover that their nemesis Mugatu (Will Ferrell) is behind the attacks, and chaos ensues as they try to stop his murderous mission.

Zoolander 2 is set for release in February 2016, with a star-studded cast including Ben Stiller's wife Christine Taylor, Kristen Wiig and Olivia Munn. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are also believed to be making a cameo.

Sorry singer Justin teased his appearance in April when he posted a photo of himself face-to-face with Ben Stiller showing off their best versions of 'Blue Steel'. He captioned the image, "@benstiller #Zoolander2 #itsawignotmynewhair."

The long-awaited sequel to the original 2001 film Zoolander was announced in March when actors Ben and Owen walked down the runway in character at the Valentino show during Paris Fashion Week. The duo strutted their stuff to rapturous applause from the audience and captured the attention of US Vogue editor Anna Wintour.
