Actress Maisie Smith returned to EastEnders on Thursday night - and she certainly made a big impression on viewers. It was the first time that Maisie's character Tiffany Butcher, and her onscreen brother Morgan (played by Devon Higgs), have appeared on screen since September 2014, and their new grown-up appearance caused a bit of a stir amongst fans of the soap.

"Seeing Tiffany all grown up on EastEnders makes me feel really old!" one Twitter user confessed, with another adding: "Can't believe how grown up Tiffany looks!!" A third remarked: "When did Tiffany and Morgan grow up?! #eastenders."

Maisie and Devon have reprised their roles this week in time for sister Whitney Dean's wedding.

Tiffany and Morgan left Albert Square two years ago to begin a new life with mum Bianca and her partner Terry in Milton Keynes. But it seems their time in Walford will be short lived; a show insider has confirmed to the Radio Times that the duo will only be back for a few episodes.

Maisie's return to the soap coincides with the news that she is launching a music career. The 15-year-old has undergone a glamorous makeover in her bid for stardom, with Instagram snapshots showing her looking every bit a pop star in crop tops, skirts and thigh-high boots.

The actress has certainly been impressing fans with her vocals, which she showcases on YouTube – including a cover of Justin Bieber's Let Me Love You.
