TOWIE star Gemma Collins lasted just three days in the jungle, before she dramatically walked out in floods of tears.

Gemma's short time on I'm A Celeb was certainly eventful, from complaints about the food rations, to claims she was suffering from malaria. And then there was her very shaky start to the show – the 35-year-old suffered a panic attack before she'd even entered the camp, having become hysterical on the helicopter.

Peter Andre's decision to take part in the 2004 series of I'm A Celebrity would change his life forever. During his stint in the jungle, he met and fell in love with his future wife Katie Price.

Viewers were gripped as they watched love blossom between the couple, who tied the knot a year later and welcomed two children together, before their split in 2009.

When she entered the jungle in 2010, Gillian McKeith managed to get on the wrong side of the British public, who voted for her to do seven bushtucker trials. It all proved too much for the budding camper, and she dramatically 'fainted' during one of the live shows.

Myleene Klass and her white bikini became the talk of the jungle in 2006 when the star stripped off to take a shower under a waterfall. It remains one of I'm A Celeb's most iconic moments to date, and helped kick-start a second career in TV for Myleene, who up until then was best known as a member of Hear'Say.

Paul Burrell's hilarious facial expressions and piercing squeals made him one of the most entertaining I’m A Celeb contestants to date.

The former royal butler screamed his way through a series of bushtucker trials – but the real challenge was for hosts Ant and Dec as they tried to control their giggles.

Speaking of Paul's participation in the aptly-named 'Hell Holes', Dec admitted: "It’s the first trial that I laughed uncontrollably. I just couldn’t keep it in. even the cameramen were shaking with laughter."

Fatima Whitbread proved just how tough she is in 2011 when she had to have a cockroach removed from her nose while competing in the 'Fill Your Face' trial against Pat Sharp.

The former British Olympian not only went on to win the challenge, but she also took the bug back with her in a bottle to show her campmates.

Joey Essex won over viewers in 2013 with his general confusion and decidedly unique outlook on life. Perhaps his most memorable moment came when he revealed he struggled to tell the time, and had to be taught how by fellow campmate Amy Willerton, with the help of a clock face drawn in the dirt.

Peter Andre put his time in the jungle to good use! The 43-year-old wrote a new song he dubbed Insania, which he performed for his fellow campmates using a wooden spoon as a microphone.

After leaving the show, the star was promptly offered a record deal – and Insania went on to reach number three in the UK chart.

It's fair to say Dean Gaffney had a tough time on I'm A Celeb! The 38-year-old – dubbed "the most nervous celebrity" on the show – particularly struggled when faced with the Bush Spa trial, which saw him shriek his way through a series of bug 'beauty treatments'.

Ant later described the challenge as "one of my favourite moments of my entire life", while Dec added: "I don't think I spoke during the second half of the trial; I had tears rolling down my cheeks. I could hardly breathe it was that funny."

David Gest became a national treasure thanks to his appearance in the 2006 series of I'm A Celebrity. The wonderfully eccentric star captivated the nation with his fantastical tales, blistering one-liners and relentless name-dropping, making him one of the show's most memorable contestants of all time.

"He changed everyone's opinion," Ant later said of the American star, who sadly passed away in April 2016. "The crew took bets on what day he was gonna walk out, as no one thought he'd stay. But he stayed, proved everyone wrong, and changed everyone's opinion of him."
