She has been a vocal supporter of  husband Wayne Bridge during his time on I'm A Celebrity, watching his every move in the jungle and urging social media followers to vote for him to win. And in a new interview with HELLO! Magazine, Saturdays singer Frankie has revealed her excitement at reuniting with her football star partner. "It's been weird not being able to speak to him," she confessed. "But I'm really proud of him."

The 27-year-old married the retired footballer Wayne in July 2014 after a three year romance, and the couple are the proud parents of two little boys, Parker and Carter. Talking about how her children are dealing with Wayne's absence in the house, Frankie said: "It's hard explaining to a three-year-old and a one-year-old where their daddy is. My eldest has told me, 'Daddy is driving in a car to Australia and it's taking a very long time.' I'm just going along with it. Wayne is out of his comfort zone but it's going to be great for people to see another side to him."

Praising his fathering skills, the pop star added: "Wayne's really hands on and changes just as many nappies as I do. He and the boys love playing together; they charge around the kitchen, running riot, whereas I do the calmer stuff such as bath time and bedtime stories. The great thing is, because Wayne retired two years ago, we can do so much as a family. Not many parents are lucky enough to be able to pick up their child from nursey together; it brings us both so much pleasure."

During his time on the ITV show, Wayne has often talked about his children and opened up about how much he misses them during a candid conversation with his fellow campmates. "Some of the stories he [Larry Lamb] was telling me were touching and sad, and made me think of family," he explained. "I'm a stay at home dad. I spend loads of time with the kids, so not being able to call and see how they are in here... I find it really hard, I just miss them loads."

The 36-year-old is also a father to 10-year-old son Jaydon, from his relationship with French model Vanessa Perroncel, who he dated from 2005 to 2009.
